i didnt mean an actual Belmont, just an 8WM70, paid a little more attention to my plates and it appears that they may not all be from the same van

I did another count last night.
961 total HQ-HZ utes and vans.
509 x Sandmans.
136 x possible Sandmans (eg can't tell from ID plates).
316 x not Sandmans
Of the 509 Sandmans the breakdown is:
18 x DHQ
29 x EHQ
11 x AHJ
153 x BHJ
153 x AHX
51 x AHZ
77 x BHZ
16 x CHZ
1 x ?HZ (don't have chassis number and right on the changeover point from BHZ to CHZ).
Of the 136 x possibles the breakdown is:
6 x DHQ
7 x EHQ
19 x BHJ
4 x AHX
92 x AHZ
5 x BHZ
3 x CHZ
There are lots of Dandenong AHZ's in the possibles (all of the 92 bar one Pagewood example) as I have a full list of Dandenong HZ production and have been counting V8 4spd or auto Holden vans (more than 50% of these should be Sandmans, possibly as high as 90% of them). I have got all Sept-Oct 1977 production, and into November. So the list of AHZ possibles and not-Sandmans will basically double when I finish November and December (plus one in January 1978). Dandenong did some 1-tonners in December 1978 so there will be a few of these too.
Hi byron have you got my sandman on your data base and if not what info would you need
cheers gene.
I don't know if I have it or not as I don't record owner's details or where the ID came from. Some cars I remember due to them being special in some way (like Rod and Jennie's Madeira red van). What I record is Chassis and engine numbers, build month/year, GVW, seat capacity, VIN and BODY plate data. Plus firewall number if it is a Pagewood HQ ute/van or Pagewood HJ-HZ ute.
Ok can i or do you want me to pm you those details so you can add it to your list
Bryon, how many M41 sandmans r u up to now. last time it was 8..or 10?
is it easy for you to filter your excel spreadsheet for M41 or is it a teadious job?
"All correspondence must bear these numbers"
PM is fine.
--- Updated ---
Easy. 25 Sandmans, 6 possibles and 15 non-Sandmans.
Of the 25, 10 x HJ, 7 x HX and 8 x HZ.
Of the 6 possibles, 2 x HJ, 1 x HX, 3 x HZ.
When you see how much dearer a 308 TH400 was over standard or even a manual 308 you'd understand why.
I know the data base has been Byron's baby for a long time (and no doubt takes a lot of time to collate), and is supported by a lot of people on here. It is an invaluable resource.
But what happens to it if something unexpectedly happens to Byron for instance? Or is a duplicate able to be accessed by the mysandman moderators in that event to preserve it?
Its a mates van

Thanks for the info, but it isn'yt much use without the missing digits. It may give me another vehicle in that TRIM line though if I don't have it already.
