    Sundowners Cruise Back in Time

    You have been invited to join Sundowners Van & Street Club on a cruise back in time to The Australian Pioneer Village at Wilberforce near Windsor NSW on the 20th May 2012. Meet at McDonald’s carpark, McGraths Hill at 8.30AM for 9.30AM departure. Entry into the pioneer village is Adults $5, Children $3 or a Family ticket $15. Sundowners have been allocated a special parking area for the vans. BYO a picnic lunch or there is food and drinks available within the venue. This is a great location for photos of vans around historic buildings.

    Just a quick update: On the day we will be selling raffle tickets which the proceeds go towards a marquee for the Van Club at the 2013 Van Nationals. The prizes include:

    1st V8 Ute Hot Lap Certificate valid until the 20/4/3013
    2nd Canvas painting of a HZ Sandman
    3rd 5 litres of Nulon Synthetic Oil

    Tickets will be $2 a ticket or 3 for $5

    There maybe other prizes on the day, so bring your cleaning products.

    On behalf of Sundowners Van and Street Club we would like to thank all those who came to the Australian Pioneer village and a special thankyou to Members from All Out Muscle. It was great to meet such a friendly group of people and their families. I would also like to thank Denis and Colleen Cefarin from Taree as well as Rodney and Jennifer Barnes from Parkes who drove long distances to make the event. The weather today was great, there was so much to see and do as well as talk about our favourite subject, Vans. Congratulations to Denis for winning best van of the day and congratulations to the red 1968 Mustang convertible for winning best car of the day. Maybe mums next project will be on the road for next year’s event.
