I think you mean HX manual CONSOLE shift (floor shift had no console).

Yes, the 2 x brackets are welded in. Best bet is to find a factory console shift vehicle and measure.

Can anyone with a centre console give me any sort of details about where to weld the brackets? :sick:

You'll never get them right without finding a sedan or something with them and measuring it all up yourself. Any HJ-WB with console shift. Even if you find a HJ-WB with a seat separator and measure the rearmost bracket, at least that will be right and then locate your front one based upon the console front holes.
