HZ GTS Speedo Questions

Hi guys,

The yellow needle GTS speedo that I have has been broken a bit.. :( The shaft (bit needle connects to) has been bent, and a few other things have been broken...

I am looking at rebuilding (or fixing) it myself and have a few questions...

- Is the actual speedo shaft (the bit the needle connects to) and the magnetic cup thing (don't know what it is called.. lol) the same as in a HZ-WB speedo???

- If it is, can I swap them over and have the speedo work perfectly??

- Where can I buy a new 'yellow needle'?? I am going to try and get a new one, because the other one is slightly broken and probably out of balance...

If there is anyone out there that has had experience with these speedos, any help would be appreciated...

The trip meter is also not fully working.. :( When you press the button, 3 numbers reset and the other goes back to either 2 or 3.. I have no idea what is going on, but I think it has something to do with the 4th ring of numbers not being in the same spot/line as the others...

Again any help or insight into this or the other issues would be appreciated.

have a crack, then you can tell us, i know the hosuings are different, pull them to bits at the same time, id focus more on the standard speedo cause there not worth anything, then as soon as you find a difference(if you do) in the gts speedo youll know to back track
