also have a drive able but unregoed WB ute bitsa. Has Caprice front end, injected 304 t700 and 19 inch rims as well as a donor wb ute
Our family car is a 2015 Range Rover Sport and for work I have a 2014 Cruiser ute.

Yep spot on Valencia about 3.5 hrs from Perth or about 180 km to Albany

Frosty I also know plenty of the Muresk crew as I was at UWA Faculty of Ag and we did a few things together, have kept in touch with a fair few of them. I was at uni from 93-96. The dam/lake is awesome - I blocked off a watercourse 12 months ago she finally filled with a big rain at the end of Jan, we have been using it alot!

I'm from Melbourne, and am wondering if anyone here owns a HX Sandman with Cat's Eye windows and a sunroof. It was originally Papaya Orange, and is actually a special car. I bought it in 1977 after it had been customized by GMH and used as a show van for the International Motor Shows in both Melbourne and Sydney.

If you are the proud owner, I would be very happy to give you more information about this van.

It had a 308 which I highly modified and 4 speed. Sunset murals on the sides and was known as The Sunset Sensation for a number of years.

    Cheers

    Hi Guys,
    I'm from Dampier WA
Just scored a HX windowless panel van
Drive a bus for a coin
Life of Brian and The Fifth Element
Muse and Electric Six are the tunes
Hang glide off a huge Pilbara mountain is high up on my to do list
Proud of getting my old 1984 XR500 back and restoring back to new

At 49 in Feb, my wife has let me get a van to rebuild for my early mid life crisis. I had a HJ Panel van when I was 18 and to say it was my fav car is an understatement haha.
My first car was a HQ Premier, 253 auto on the tree
    2nd was a VC Commodore 202 blue
    3rd the HJ PV
4th XC 302 4speed Panel Van (great car as well)
5th HQ 2 door Monaro 350 chev (still cry over this one)
Then a heap of others really not worth mentioning on here. Have a ex cop VE Commodore and a 80 series turbo diesel now and soon to return to the good old days with the Van.
I will be doing the build myself, so be prepared for heaps of stupid questions from bloody huge to tiny problems I'm sure to find and advice on where you think I should head with the build.
Thanks for letting me join this elite group, Dion.Untitled-Scanned-11.jpg
Here's a pic of me in my old HJ

You had some interesting cars. The Monaro would have been a nice one to still have...
I just finished restoring a 83 XR500. Cool old bikes. This is mine,

Thanks mate, Forgot my HJ premier sedan off that list as well, 327 chev, auto, but it dropped a valve and destroyed the donk so I try to forget that one haha. Here's a pic of my bike for you. Me and a friend from school are fixing up a heap of old XR's. Think at last count we have:
    6 x XR500's
    3 x XR600's
    2 x XR650R's
    1 x XL600

Got 3 up to show quality so far

Unreal! Shame you live in WA. Would love to check your bikes out. That's an unreal amount of XR's.

    Hey all,

I'm from: Darwin NT, now Sunny Coast QLD
    I found mySandman: Googling "Sandman"
    For a Living I: Manage a Motel
The best film I've ever seen is: The Rock - Nic Cage and Sean Connery
I'm currently listening to: Redlines - Funkoars
The thing I'd like most to do, right now, that I haven't done is: write a good book
Something I'm really proud of is: My bourgeoning Sandman build
