I'm interested too. Outside of his licensed area - I'm in Brisbane? What does licencing have to do with it??
I'm in Melbourne. Shipping will be different for everyone
Hi Guys,
To avoid confusion.
The company "Strut Re-Gas" should have a local distributor in your area. It has 100's of small operators - mostly small mechanics workshops.
So I guess Bruce does not want to take business away from your local bloke. I can understand that totally.
But, If for some reason you do not have a distributor of "Strut Re-Gas products" in your area then Bruce is happy to post some down to you.
At the end of the day he is happy to help out. Best thing is to contact Bruce and he will put you in touch with your local supplier if you have one.
Here are some locations of Strut Regas distributors taken from the website.

I hope this clears up some of the confusion.
That said, I am happy with the product. The struts even stay up on bumpy roads. Which is most of the roads in Wagga
Cheers,
Peter

Fitted gas struts to my van as a trial - used old strut bracket -I had to elongate the bottom holes by 5mm - the struts were FLEXIGLASS, TJM, TOURETOP CANOPY GAS STRUTS from ebay, It opens fine but not as high as original and a bit light if travelling with it open. The overall Length from bolt centres 420mm - cylinder casing is 230mm from bolt centre

You might want to flip your struts around the other way, I made the same mistake when I fitted mine. It was brought to my attention that the seals in the strut will fail if they are mounted upside down like that and lose their pressure. It shouldn't make a difference to how you have mounted them, just turn them up the other way.
Learnt that today also
