differnce between torana and hz bucket seats??

hey guys whats the difference between torana and hz bucket seats, other than there covered differently, know a bloke whos got a pair in his backyard, are they anything special?? im not sure if they were hatch of 4 door??

if they are from a hatch they should tilt forward and if they are grab them quick!!! i think they are the same as hz but with different padding we have an ss torana and they are very comfortable hope that helps

V6HQUTE, Mate I am almost 100% sure they are identical EXCEPT!!!!! smaller!! Reason I say this is a was a trade qualified motor trimmer for 7 years and have recovered many of both in the past. Gave up the job back in 2004 and can't for the life of me remember to be sure to be sure. Just called my old boss and he wasnt sure either (been years since he's recovered them) My advice. Call a local motor trimmer and check. Yes, the inserts or seat faces are covered differently too. Hope this help.... a little

I think Scotty is right, slightly narrower and the back is a bit hollowed out (for extra knee room for backseat passengers)

ah cool cheers, guys, im not interested in them unless they flip foward, then ill use the hinges in my ute so its easier to get to the back pockets only reason i want them

What about Scheel seats like what the Brock Commodores had since it's a modified ute? Or are you looking at keeping it "looking" original? They are an underated but sadly a sometimes overpriced very well made seat. Comfortable, sturdy and sporty

yeah im trying to keep it original looking to a point, except under bonnet, i like the look of the hz seats they just dont fold far enought foward

Hq/j flip forward ones in really crap condition go for over $500 consistently on ebay.

Why, you got some Agro? Seats are one of the few things I'm missing for my HQ coupe. Was thinking of just using some black leather BMW coupe seats or V2 Monaro ones if I can find them.
