Hi all I just thought I would post a couple of pictures up of the elvis festival here in Parkes over the weekend, probably one of the biggest turn outs yet. People lined the street for the parade on Sat morning, we ran the drive in so made a float to advertise this, Rodney built a screen on the back of a truck and we tied little peddle cars depicting a drive in scene, with kids sitting in them. Funny thing was as we drove up the street, a out every 10metres somebody commented about sandmans, saying "look at the sandman" "oh the sandman" remember the sandman wow havent seen a sandman for yonks...anyway I dressed up as a cafe girl, ready for selling choc tops and pop corn on the night.
