i want a sandman van!!

Thanks for all the imput so far!!! I'm not looking for a concourse car although that would be nice! Probably more a clean original type, hj hz hx, color auto or man 308 or 253 not really fussed! Preffur window less no sunroofs etc.I'm a numbers man I like em to match although would consider a replica for the right price!! Would look at a project too! HZSANDMAN yes mate that's me! I have seen your van and it's my inspiration to find one!! I did ask if yours was for sale first!!

Reading all this is making my XX7 plated HJ look good.
Even though there is no motor or box it does need a bit of body work:

#Rust in both side lower rear quarters and needs a rear beaver.
#Floor pans need to be changed (if you think they need doing).
#Has windows in the sides.
#A small hole below the RHF side window.
#Roof aerial.
#Normal guards
#GTS dash but has no facia's.
#Lower tailgate has a big dint.
#RH side wiper section needs to be tapped down a bit
#Chassis is cracked near the LHF upper control arm
#Power steering box but no pump

BASICALLY i bought this as a rolling shell and have done sweet FA to it, other then chasing GTS dash, single headlight front, doors, upper tailgate guards (with inners as well).
I will be asking $2500 for it on here first then starting at $2750 on Ebay after a few weeks.
I'm hoping that the XX7 on the plates will help it reach the asking price.

Although you migt not see the value, someone will and you'll get OK $ for it.

If i was to get $3k on here (over $3500 on EBAY) for it i'd throw in a pair of original (not weld in) GTS guards that need lower rust repair panels done and a complete white sticker kit.

For an extra $500 on top of that i could put in a WB 308 turbo pattern motor that needs a rebuild.

Hey guys, it is with regret that my search for a sandman van has been put on the back burner for a liitle while.Due to family commitments at the moment. However i will still be hanging around to gather more knowlege, and keeping an eye on whats for sale.
Id like to say a huge thank you to everybody on this great side.... Byron, Ian and Bern thank you for all your help and patience.

When you least expect it you will stumble across a possible sandman. If you can have some money set aside "just in case". Good luck with your search in the future.
