Information on camping fees and entry costs.

Quoted from Rusty on the Majestics Forum:

Where: Hume Angling Club at Jackson’s Point, Lake Hume, Victoria.

    Distances:
Where I work near the CBD in Wodonga to Gate of Club 15km.
Bitumen to Gate of Club 500m (well maintained dirt road)
    Gate to Club House 150m
Gate of Club to Lavington Sports Club 24km

    Cost for Camping:
With the current numbers we are looking at $80 total per Head for the three (3) nights.
To make it more affordable for Families, accompanying Spouses will be $40 total per head for the three (3) nights.
Accompanying Kids under 16 Years of Age will be $Free$; over 16 Years of Age will be $40 total per head for the three (3) nights.
As long as I'm not out of pocket at the end of the weekend I'll be happy.
I'm looking for Payment in advance based on the above Fees as I have a sizable Deposit on the Venue.

    Meals:
Meals when we are out and about will be at your Expense.
For Meals at the Club House, we are planning on Bulk Buying and Cooking up a Storm. The plan is we will all throw some money into Kitty (so to speak). It might be something like $10 a head for the Main Meal. We'll work that out between us.

    Event Entry Fee:
The Entry Fee for the Weekend is $25.
This includes automatic Entry into the Mystery Cruise; The Sound & Light Spectacular / Van Display at the SS&A Club; and the Sunday Show & Shine.
Payment in advance will be appreciated so that I can put it towards the Trophies.

Anyways, I hope that all sounds very good and I look forward to your Feedback.

Please contact me (0419 232 591) to arrange payment or if you already have the Account details, please make a Direct Deposit.

    Keep on Vannin'!

I'm looking forward to catching up with all who'll be coming and those who don't yet know that they are.

    Regards,

    Rusty
I hope that some of you will be able to attend, if only for the show and shine on the sunday. Catergories for trophies will cover all van styles, and include top sandman, top original, best paint, undercarrage, engine bay etc.

We will be sharing Hovel Tree Park on the Sunday with the City Central Church with their Easter Sunday ‘Family Fun Day’, bringing Easter to the People.

During the Show & Shine there will be an Easter Egg Hunt, Jumping Castle, Fairy Floss (for the Kids) and a Sausage Sizzle ALL for FREE for all who attend.

    Hope to see you there!

    Cheers,
    Karl.

Quote from Rusty - Majestic Vanners:

Yes, we've come up with some Funky names for the Categories to mix things up a little.

I hope that you see the lighter side behind them and understand that the idea behind the WHOLE Event is to have FUN!

The number of Trophies that can be Won by any One (1) Van will be limited.

Every Entrant will be Voting for the Van/Wagon/Vehicle they believe is worthy of each Category.

Voting will be based on a preferential system.

The Details will be explained on the Sunday Show Day and will be easier to understand when you see the "Judging" Forms.

The Light and Sound Spectacular / Van Display at the SS&A Club on the Saturday will have it's own Trophy as listed.

The Items the Sponsor's (mySandman.com.au and Amcat) are providing may be used as Runner Up Prizes, Raffle and Lucky Give Aways.

We also have a $30 Gift Voucher from Bernie's, we will Award as a Prize to an Entrant we decide most deserving.

Anyway, I hope that gives you some insight into how things will go.
As you can see we have taken a different approach in the way we present and catergorise our trophies. We are interested in your opinions and would appreciate any feedback you have to offer.

    Cheers,
    Karl.
