NOT a Sandman but a bloody good compromise

This HX ute isn't a sandman but close enough for many and the price seems right...

Factory Bordeaux Metallic with tan 67v trim..... L32 m40

Has owner manuals and is registered

    Buy it now $2600

Someone should buy it.... If I was closer I would

Its been on there for months. You could have bought it before Christmas with rego for the same price.

If it was a manual it would have been right up my street. But 253 auto with a bench seat doesn't float my boat, and it would be a shame to modify it from what the tags say, as the originality is what is unusual with it. My opinion anyway.

Putting a set of buckets and the trimaic on the floor in a console wouldn't detract from it in my mind....

For $2600 it would make someone a tidy daily driver after a tart up...

Yeah but the point of that ute is its still in original condition. They are so thin on the ground now in original condition that to "tart" it up would spoil it. They tarted all the utes like that up in the 90's and thats why there are none left at all like this now. Look at Nocturns ute and then have a look at that HX and see what you could really turn it into by doing a proper respray and leaving it alone.

By tart up I meant repaint in original colour.... Retrim in original trim..... Redo the gts rims and enjoy.....

I own a factory 308 Belmont ute in purr pull..... I am leaving the trim as Belmont but putting in buckets... Not straying too far from original but a bench seat just doesn't do it for me

I was up there at Xmas, would have looked i'd known. If it was a HJ it might have interested me, buckets with column shift auto is cool.
