    Re-chrome

    Hi there everyone,

I would just like to ask some advice for restoring bumper bars, just that i want to get a couple of sets re chrommed. Something I have not had to sort out before. I have got a few places in mind. These are:

All Metal Bumpers:- 1/17 Memorial Avenue, Ingleburn NSW.
All Chrome Bits:- 11/ 15 Childs Road, Chipping Norton NSW.
Chrome World. 31 Kembla Street Fyshwick ACT
Chrome World. 36 Lancaster St. Ingleburn NSW
    Hamilton Chrome (Newcastle).

Is anyone able to give me some feedback on these individual chrome places, good/bad/other?

Should I be particular in getting copper or nickel undercoating for best results as I understand one gives a blue and one gives a yellowy/orange tinge when finished.

    Thanks for your help.

We had a front bumper, bumperettes, tail light surrounds, and scuff plates all done by Hamilton Chrome, I am not sure about the price as didn't have anything to compare with, Greg at Ozwreck organised it for us and we are happy with the finished product..

It does and thanks for that, did they happen to mention anything about the copper or nickel base before chromming? I think everywhere is going to be shut over chrissy so I will give them a call after that. Thanks.
