Top stuff!!!
looks like the ball is rolling!
ive got an HQ van with no rust around the screen but a gaping hole inside the plenum where leaves packed and the drain tube was blocked. do you have a birds eye view straight down into the plenum (cowl removed)? Also did it take you or your beater long to drill the spot welds out and remove cowl?

I basically unpicked another whole HQ plenum off a sedan that wasn't rusted. Then cut along the window channel and used a spot-weld bit to unpick the rest. Fixed the rust and POR15'ed this inside. Then plug welded it back on.
Don't know if its right but it looks ok to me. My build probably isn't technically correct but its me in the garage. :-) I'm just doing it to drive it.

awesome Mauser thanks for that! Here I was going to hack the shit out of the top of the cowl when it the bit under the tag that i need to get to. right up front where it backs onto the firewall. I'm hacking away in the garage plug welding floor pans over the weekend. love it but its seriously messy shit

Yes Frosty, I live in Erskine so if a blue Prado with Vic rego and Vic rego trailer it was me, was the easiest way to get it to the Blasters and back without damaging the shell, pick up some gas today and hide in the shed for a few months
Confirmed it was you. My partner said I was mental to think that was a Sandman chasses, nice to be right once. I sent you a PM
