I had these mailed to me for verification, yep a nice Kingswood Sandman - so jealous!
Very nice. Leave it as is I say. Wonder if it'll be up on ebay soon.
As I said to Blocker, if it was 308 M41 i'd be very tempted. Not interested as a 253 or even manual. A Papaya HJ is scarce in a van, but damn near non-existant on a ute.
hard to find in any original state ,blocker ,please lat me know if ya can, what happens to this nice ute
Nice colour. Hopefully someone gets it who will want it as much as the origional owner did.
I have always thought there would be far more utes out there to be found than vans... the old b&s boys would of shoved their old ute in the back of a shed. Farms have the space to keep things surburbia doesn't. Lots of vans rusted away near the coast or were stripped for utes.

Without having seen the plates, it looks like a 1st series HJ to me which would be very early use of the papaya colour. I always thought the papaya colour was released for LX torana (March 76) so just caught the end of HJ run, as Byron said, any HJ rare in this colour. Love it.
