Dave's HZ Madeira Red sandman in Wagga NSW

Well we just got back from a successful day looking at the Van Dave advertised...Been off the road, and un registered for 5 years, but sheded, Very nice...we must be mad but we bought it...too good to let go..all original, no rust...paint a bit faded, and decals having little bits missing but nothing a good buff won't sort out in the interim...couple of small repairs to do, eg wing mirrors, broken grille, prob hit a bird...so no panel damage..still has full hood lining, and bonus owner manuals in original dealership case...not filled out, because first owner (there has been two) did his own services..So while we are doing up the other van, we have one to drive...prob only need to fix the door panels and leave the rest as is...anyways very excited to now own it...pick up in a fortnight and drive home with Trader plates.... would love to post pics after blocker gives us a lesson on how. Hope you all had good weekend....:D

Postin pics is easy peasy guys.. Just join a site like www.photobucket.com then upload your photos to it. Once uploaded copy the html code from beneath your uploaded pic, then paste it into the forum post.

If your files are too big you can also download a free program like www.irfanview.com and resize your pics before uploading them..

    Enjoy!

    Smaller I hope!

there are photos, the correct size, thankyou for your help blocker with tutorial and hainzy...you will see the van needs a good clean, polish, the front grille needs replacing, rusty rims, and to be registered....If Fastlane are looking at this they can add the ID to their number of Sandman's left statistics...always wanted one out of a shed still in Original condition...not too keen on Windows but you can't have everything....

    Great score.
Excellent original condition. Interesting to see how the blackouts around the side windows can be different in different vans. Mine in original paint follows the curve and yours in original paint goes beyond the door curve and makes its own shape.
    Cheers.

Nice original Sandy, congrats on the new purchase. Could you post a pic of the body tag for the trim, driveline and colour codes? I would like it for my records.
