    WB V8 Van - Finally

looked for ages and finally found what i wanted at a reasonable price

Anyway, its an 82 / 253 / auto / bench seat / dual fuel and comes with power steer (in a box in the back)
Its also got some old school dished stockers which will do for the moment
Got some rust but i have a mate that's going to plate it all for me, so by early new year it should be nice and solid

    Plans are as follows:

    ASAP
clean it up and tidy it up
    fix and fit power steer
    fit air con
    archway
    basic rear fit out
    second lpg tank

    Soonish
    power windows
    cruise control

    Later (but not too long)
GTS guards - or maybe somethig customish
stato front - maybe a monza type Smile
    freshen motor and box
    customise tailgate
might fill side windows - not sure yet
    wb stato rear bar
custom fuel filler - remote opening with lpg and petrol filling
    wB stato or GTS dash
    wb or gts wheel
    6inch reverse cowl scoop
    different wheels

    Maybe maybe
some checkmate flares and rear wing

its going to be my daily driver for work
pics up tonight (when i can work out how to shrink them)

Good to see you have a van, the plans for it are excellent.

I'd just leave it how it is except fit sports instruments and an injected 304. Looks very cool with the wide stockies and hubcaps!

Nice purchase! Yea leave it as is so you can drive the damn thing and just swap out the dash.
I only wish I spent a few months driving mine when I bought it before striping it!

Im thinking about the injected motor but i wont to keep the column shift
Anyone ever seen column shift TH700 (4L60) in a HJ - WB?

It will only be off the road for less than a week when i do the dash and rust repairs as it's my daily driver for work now - providing no major issues arise
even when i do the motor rebuild (or swap) ill try and make it a weekend job
