I have one that came with the bits along with my HQ van. I have asked the question before, since mine is scratched and old looking, how do you tell the difference between an origional HQ center and the repo from rares.......

Dunno... haha you wouldn't want to pay over $104.50 and you get the lot.

I got a fuel line to the carby from this guy when I removed the gas system. He makes excellent stuff.

Kick one of these around the shed floor a bit and it would look like the one in the add or mine I would believe!!!

HJ's have a solid black center. No Sandman logo. Although I wish it did! One feature I would have really liked to have seen carried out throughout the models!

rolla, we have one with a sandman Logo in the centre cap which came with our HX ute, we do have the correct HX steering wheel we bought from a swap meet, but think we will keep the sandman one on it as it looks cool....and with the ute, we are not doing a totally exact resto in some areas....

    Hahaha...... Guys dreaming.....

There is an awful lot of Sandman steering wheels coming up on eBay considering they were only on HQ and not a lot of HQ Sandmans were made.

There are also a lot of suckers out there. I bought an old broken HQ GTS steering wheel ages ago for $28 off eBay, replaced the GTS cap badge with a correct repro Sandman badge and stuck it back on eBay as a Holden sports steering wheel, used and broken.
Wanted to see what it would go for and did a $30 start bid so I would at least get my money back, I was dumbfounded when it was bid up to $342 in the last few minutes of the auction.

Seen plenty of other people do the same thing since and the bidding go as high as $480??????? Bloody funny!!!!
