Carpet on HJ is a wierd thing as documentation is conflicting. What is clear is that it became standard with XX7 at some stage mid 1975, HOWEVER prior to that it was supposed to be standard in commercials where bucket seats were optioned.

Not sure. I don't think HQ Belmont, Holden, Kingswood or Monaro got it standard. I think you had to get Premier or LS or GTS to get carpet as standard
