    What about the Compliance plates did they change them to identify which one they might have been. How would u tell?

    You couldn't tell on a 1971-1972 HQ. A V8 Kingswood ute ordered as 253 column auto would be plated identically to one with a 350 and TH400.

    Production examples of passenger HQ's started in 5/71 and the last were 9/74. Commercials around 10/71 start.
