Not sure I understand the post correctly. Wasn't aware HJ Sandmans came with a 186 in auto.

Yep, wasn't until HZ that the V8 was standard.

I think you're all barking up a dead tree. Seller has one post advertised beginning of November and hasn't logged in here since the 13th Nov. No mention anywhere of a Sandman either so it's most likely a rusty base model. People who haven't got a Sandman will often put Sandman in the title but it very rarely occurs the opposite way around.
