No offence mate but the car is stripped, has no engine, missing all the GTS/Sandman bits, has lots of rust and someone has done a bodgy sill job, it's only a 253 engined ute and you want $8500 and no dreamers... Seriously, I think you're the one that's dreaming.
Post up the Ebay link when you list it, photo's will tell us more about the car and it will be interesting to see what bids it gets.

We paid $6200 for this although it is a hx it is running registered, and doesn't really need to have any work done on it except we want to restore it back to original..btw ..it is a sandman..So sandmanute, it appears to be a lot to pay for a ute which is in bits, but good luck with your sale...

no one cane even know records of how many sandmans were built in TOTAL because of years and years of paper trails or lack of, so how can you say only two were built. no offence but that is a big call and 8500 non negotiable, in pieces and missing bits i trhink you may be the dreamer sorry.
That is most likely too dear for what it is, BUT if I had the ID to record it would be the first 1189 coloured ute I would record so it isn't common. I have 3 x vans but no ute. I'd love to see where the 2 only built comes from Damien if you have proof of it! Would be a wonderful find if you do have something.
