Looks a bit like the sandman I found last year in Tassie. My partner and i were visiting her relos and the son had this parked in the paddock. he ended up giving it to someone who never paid him... Twas pretty rooted though. Dang cussin and a cursin hillbillies. (Also got an FJ ute in the shed which is gunna get done up one day..) Yeah right.. Its been there for about 25 years now...
That colour is growing on me.
I know of a guy who has a HJ that same colour and driveline 253 auto sandmane with white stropes has had it since new uses it as his plumbing work van, has had it resprayed twice and is thinking of a third time, tried to persuade him to sell it but claims even though he is around 70 yrs old he still has another 10 yrs of work left in him, will hopefully get first crack at it when the time does come.
