just curious as to what brand battery people are running in their cars, i have always used century batteries and seem to get pretty good life out of them, but does anyone use a cheaper/no-name brand and get good results???

1975 HJ Sandman Van 308 trimatic.
1995 EF falcon XR6 wagon.
i have had a super charge battery in my hot rod since 2003 still going strong also have one in my wifes SV6 bought in 2005
Supercharge batteries are probably one of the best.
Century (or NRMA) are known to be called the "Blue battery of death", because of their unreliability.
BO6 = Rarer then a Sandman
I use Supercharge in the XU1, Camry and commodore so far so good.
I've got a marshell premium x56d it has 550 cold cracking amp , 58amp hrs and 105 min reserve capacity,I thnk this battery has extra cranking amps .I was running a standard battery originally and with a little higher compression and fresh (tight) motor I was often push starting my van especially when hot. This battery seams to turn the motor over better when its hot when it counts.

I use exide batteries....
i use a calcium battery in the van... had it for about a year and it's very good... good for when you don't drive a car for a while and then want to fire it up...
it's here and I love it!!
