    thanks Al, yeah, i know that one, already been told... if it dies, it dies and i'll get another one cos i believe the chargers for them are very expensive.....
    it's here and I love it!!

    For cars that are not daily drivers all you need ISA trickle/maintenance charger...... $50 at auto pro.... Just attach it to your car when it is parked and it will keep the battery fully charged for when you are ready to cruise

    yup that is what is on the GT, and also on HX when not on GT everything else gets a weekly start...they are a great thing...

    thanks for all that..i imagine i could use the C-tek charger i use in my camper trailer that charges my deep cycle batteries? it has a maintenance mode/trickle charge mode...

    i use a half inch spanner...lots cheaper than 50 bucks and uses no electricity at all..

    When Iwas on the farm we used Bond batteries in all of the vehicles. Over the years I have had Century, Yuasa, R & J (Ballarat), at the moment I am runing Super Charge. They are one of the best I have found. Bond were the best batteries that I used though, aint seen em in years.

    Marshall are good, century are not. You need to go by the cold cranking number to get a decent battery. I have about 15 or more vehicles here and they all use N70 or larger batteries so they need to be made to last as long as possible. Don't let them go flat and don't leave them sitting on concrete ever. That is the death nell of any battery.
