Biggest Wheel & Tyre Combo for WB Ute

Hi guys, I am now at the stage where I am looking for some rims for my ute. I am looking at a set of Wheel Vintiques Pontiac Ralley II's (something like that....)

My question is what is the biggest wheel and tyre combo I can fit???

I have been told that 15x7 with 3 3/8 backspace (with a 225/65/15) will fit on the front without scrubbing, and 15x8 with 4 1/2 backspace (with a 245/60/15) will fit on the back.

All the suspension and diff etc. will be stock, so I do not want to make any modifcations either.

I would like it to be similar to this:
    http://www.carpoint.com.au/all-cars/...eot=1&__N=1216

What are peoples thoughts on the biggest wheels I could fit???

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Matt
    Cheers,
    Matt

yeh that will work..if you wanted to run 10s on the rear you need to narrow the diff..my injected van has narrowed 9inch with 15x10s and 275s..what are you paying for the 15x7 and 15x8s?

Rightio, thanks for the help mate.

$136.95 for the 7's and $139.95 for the 8's, thats each... and then there is postage and the money converted etc.... I'll ring rocket and see how much they want.
    Cheers,
    Matt

Rightio, I'll see what I can do. I want to get the car registered before I do anything with wheels... So I probably won't find out until after new years.

    Thanks for all the help.

235 will fit the front without scrubbing and 245 will fit the back without scrubbing. Be aware that you can not control a ute in the wet with wide tyres on the back. Even with 235 on the back of mine it will spin the wheels constantly on a wet street(which is fun but not at 110+km/h).
