On a cursory look over your numbers I'd say yes.. but HK1837 is the expert in this area. If it is.. it is a great early model!

Wow excelent... Burgandy is a nice color.

2-seater/30B is a bucket seat model. It should have a rear hq console mount welded to the floor as well.

Can you post some pictures of her I would be interested in the dash and console that was in it.

Bucket seats and 4spd, i'd give it 99.9% sure to be a Sandman especially being not Acacia Ridge build. Should also have 140MPH/220kph speedo.

I already have that car recorded as a Sandman so someone has contacted me about it. Back then it had chassis number DHQ1130xS

Cool, I was worried people were not going to call it genuine because it did not have the XX7 stamp even tho it was not built in the Acacia Ridge plant.

I will post pictures shortly, but it is currently disassembled and stripped paint back, ready for complete restoration. Still undecided of Color and Engine.... or to bring it back to completel original.

I think this is what Mauser wanted - the center console mount:

But atm everything has been pulled off it.

haha I just like refence pictures of any HQ Sandman and any bits... lol I meant that the floor mount is a feature of a HQ sandman.

Nice mate... not bad nick considering the 40 years of roaring around and shagging.

    Mauser

That one came out of Adelaide and sent to Sydney with the side vents.. Wonder when the cut off is for the deleting of those?

It isn't an Elizabeth body, Pagewood BAP built HQ van bodies. Most HQ vans have side vents, as do HD-HG where the HQ turret came from. It is only the last few months of construction that saw them deleted, from memory vans from about 5/74 onwards started to appear with the vents missing. The timeframe may vary slightly between the Pagewood, Elizabeth and Acacia Ridge plants depending upon who first used up the last of the side panels with flutes pressed into them (all pressings came from the one plant afaik).
