    Indicator Stalk for HZ

Yes I have one it is actually quite a good one too....you can have it when we strip verything out and change for brown, in about 4 months when the rego runs out, and we begin the rebuild....if you can wait that long, we will actually have quite a bit of black stuff....

Why are you changing the indicator stalk to brown?

    Black Interior

    Absinth and Agro
Because brown is the original colour which the goes with Jasmine Yellow, as we understand, plus the dash etc. has been painted and you can see brown through it, we have to change the door linings as they have been replaced by Statesman ones, and the whole interior needs to be re done. that was the colour of our 78HZ so thinking brown is correct.... So we will have a lot of black, and black painted over bits and pieces for sale once we strip it....we have found seats in the Holden Museum in the old dealership in Canowindra which is now an amazing museum, he kept one of each model Holden, which are all in the rear of the shop worth a look if you are ever in the area....also persuaded him to sell me the brochure he found to show me. The one of sea witch and Jasmine HZ it was in mint condition, so pretty happy with that little find....

Jennie, base model Holden and all Sandmans had a black steering column, steering wheel and indicator stalk. Kingswood up had them colour co-ordinated.

Note Hainzy's original interior in his Caribbean Turquoise HZ Sandman van.

    Blinker Stalk

    Hello Absinth
Thanks for your in put on this....Oh well you learn a new thing everyday, I will need to keep it.... I thought our original Sandman had a brown dash, glovebox door, side trims, console and seats, I imagined it had a brown steering column and blinker but am happy to be corrected so we get this right....maybe am mixing it up with our kingswood HZ wagon 1980 model pile of rubbish which we traded in on an XR8 in 1991....yes we were so turned off by this particular holden.....we have had XR8's and GT's since then....Still love the pre commodore range of Holden though.
