anyone heard of jeff nichols engine place in rutherford

has anyone heard or dealt with jeff nichols, engine shop i presume in/near rutherford nsw im looking at a reco motor for my hq and the bloke said it was done there, good work?

Rutherford is a suburb of Maitland where I am, have not heard of him but not to say he has not got a shop here,

yep i know geoff..ive been selling him stuff for a few years..real nice bloke and i have never heard anything bad about his work..ring him and ask about the motor..he is very approachable and should answer any questions you have..

The name rings a bell - ask him if he ran a performance shop in Sydney's south west around 1988-1992 era - if so, he's excellent, and I'd highly recommend his work.
A few mates have cars that he built the motors for in that period, and they are still strong performers to this day.
At the time, if it's the same guy, his wife had a 454 in a HZ Prem wagon.

cheers guys i try give him a call the bloke that has the motor im looking at doesnt have the reciets any longer, he said it was built 3yrs ago, i just wouldnt mind making sure, the blokes been very helpful but is too much $$ to get ripped off, do you think geoff would keep records that far back if i gave him the blokes name,rough date and a engine number?
