It's finally arrived

Well it's taken a while but it finally got delievered to the door last week....
Time for the work to begin!
Started stripping the ratty hood lining to see what we've got.....they used a LOT of glue!

lots n lots n lots n lots of work there..... along with blood, sweat, swearing and tears.... LOL good luck and hope all works out well

Yeah Blocker, I reckon there must have been a lot of pimped up rides getting around back in the day

yeah thats a rather large amount of glue there....

we use Kenco - Shift It to remove the old glue from window tint

if it needs some help put plastic over it after you spray it on and it helps soften it

if it's really bad try costic oven cleaner

Thanks very much for that info....have only tried paint and varnish stripper so far....reckon we might give the oven cleaner a go!!!

Thought I'd post an Easter update....well progress from Xmas til now...
Body off, chassis stripped and the Mrs has made headway with the glue...with paint stripper and a wire brush...
