    Whats the go with this auto shifter

    just saw this on ebay, old mate has made a big deal about the linkage being on the left, why is this? thought someone might know

    Is left side shift for T400 or something? Given it's the same seller asking $2000 for a set of non date matching GTS wheels I'm sure he's prone to making a big deal out of seemingly trivial things.

    i thougth the turbo shifters had another bit attached? i dont know what to call it, wheres oz he would know
    yeah i saw the rims, i would pay that but someone has made a offer, ive got 3 gts rims here, 2 came with a free car and i found the other in the shed i dont know if its the original tyre but its old, wierd tread pattern even still holds air lol

    I think it is just a UC Torana trimatic T-bar.

    its a wb statesman shifter for trimatic..the black gives it away as all wb t bar shifters are black..all wb statesman ran left shift trimatics same as v8 commodore...wb statesman also had t350 boxes but the shifter for them is cable..t400 shifter for earlier models is on the left but has a longer more bent bar if it is a rod type shift and the t400 cable shifter has a wacky bracket set up again by itself.

    There you go. Something new every day. Greg, not all WB are left shift - you could option a bench and column shift on later Deville. Would be pretty rare though.

    ive seen a wb stato with column, interior wasnt real nice, was like hessian sacks, old lady drives it locally

    That is series II Deville trim. You are right, it looks like hessian!
