What colour?

Dad and i are doing up a WB panno and sent it off to the panelbeaters for rust repair and paint job. However we are undecided on what colour to paint the van, we were thinking atlantis blue, carribean turquoise or sticking with the original white. Just wondering if anyone had feedback or suggestions on what colour to choose?

There are some great colours out there, have a look at some new cars and then decide i have a hj sandman which is factory white but there is no way i am going to paint it white .VE commodores have a colour called karma or VZ had a colour called cosmo which is a dark purple they both are nice colours in my opinion but colour is a personal thing . If you plan on selling it then you cant go wrong with red or yellow good luck with it

cheers, i can see what you mean the new colours arent too bad, we were thinking the new mitsubishi or mazda blue, but we would prefer to use an original sandman colour =) nice hj sandman by the way good luck with it, looking good and red makes it go faster!

I reckon Carribean Turquoise is an awesome colour for a 70s van. But im biased. Heres my thread for a colour reference for ya.

Carribean Turquiose doesn't look to bad, and Atlantis Blue looks cool as well.

gday mate just wondering are you sure bottom ute is painted atlantis blue ? Im looking to paint van this colour and every pic looks different. hard to get an idea of what it would look like .

What Sandman are you going to replicate? HQ, HJ, HX or HZ? I'd use a colour right for whichever on you choose.

If you are going to do HZ for a replica I think there are only 3 x choices: Jasmine Yellow, Palais White or to be different (as none have yet come to light) Ultra Blue. The first two look really good with stripes, darker colours not so much. I haven't seen an Ultra Blue Sandman but it is an awesome colour in the flesh, can look blue or purple.

Yep I would have to agree that GTS Ultra Blue is one of my other favorite colours. Its the blue version of Jamacia Lime. It is rarely seen and would defiantly stand out, It would be Ultra Blue!
