    hidden treasure

Guys just wanted to gloat, I was talking to my boiler maker at work about my van and as my work shop backs onto the old Acacia Ridge holden plant which is where my was built I found out he was on the product line at Holden in the 70's at the Acacia Ridge plant and worked on Sandman's etc. So I found out how ruff thing really where back then and how other guys had new sandmans and how spare parts easily found there way out of the store at night.
He then said that he would ring a couple of guys he still knows to see if they had any new old stock hanging around. One got back to him today any found a heap of parts including a full lenght Black van hood linning that he put in a sealed box a second hand M21 plus will drag the other stuff out from his mums house next week. Best news IF it comes true is that I can have it all for FREE as long as I take him cruising when I get the van on the road. This sounds like the start of a great friendship.

Great stuff gypsy, he is probably glad his treasures will go to a good home...wow a full length hoodlining...you could probably get a fortune for that on ebay, but I know that isn't what you are about...let us know what else he gives you so we can all be jealous...
