Job Change - WHos the Ambo Driver here

Ok im looking for new job, and seen this advert pop up more then once yes, it look ok, want some feedback, and I know there is a Ambo driver on here,

Do you really need any medical back ground to help you get in?

    http://www.seek.com.au/Job/trainee-p...unter/20739036, this is the advert

I would love the mines like so many others, kinda lost my way at Woolies at the moment after a health scare this morning and getting a lecture I sort of seen the light were only numbers, but job are you not?

    Thoughts ?

    Gday mate.

yep Im the paramedic. Not entirely sure what youre asking, but I can only really speak for Vic where I work and here you dont need any medical experience to get into paramedics. They like life experience. You have to study for 3 years and you get all your training there. That NSW job says you have to study for a year so Im not sure what they do but I know bathurst uni does a course too. Its a good job. Lots of politics at the moment like any job but you get to do some good stuff and have fun 95% of the time.

Hey Scotty! Mate of mine is an Ambo in nsw and I considered it as a change also. He told me you need to be reasonably fit, and you do some entrance exams I think. Once your accepted you get paid to train on the job. Only downside I saw was they can post you anywhere in nsw regardless of where your family is. As he said, they put their staffing requirements ahead of your needs!
Good luck if you follow it up mate!
