I just did a head count. Funny how numbers align!
462 Sandmans
62 ???? (possibles)
162 non-Sandman utes and vans.
62 is very prominent?

I have a few sets of van and ute tags, would these details be useful to you?
It would be cool to have a roll call of , Hq, HJ , HX and HZ sandmans , Utes and vans that are still alive ! Meaning currently still with chassis , orig body.
Heya 👋🏻
I’m Jackie and a “newby”!
I might have one of those “confused” utes!
I have read soooo much about the Sandman’s as I thought I might’ve had one....but now????? I really have just got a brain injury from all the reading and feel like I have learnt nothing! 🤯
I have a HZ Ute, with a 308 (on gas 😡 but not for long), from Adelaide,
and it’s has (had commodore seats that have gone...) bucket seats, and that’s where I will stop for a moment!
One of the ID plates I think is off a HK, not sure 🤔 but the chassis numbers are correct with another plate?
It’s an 8MW80, palais white code, 3 speed T-bar auto but also has a couple of things that may make it a Sandman or a Cute (confused Ute) 😆.
I am struggling with what info I have and really want to know!
I will apologise now because I guarantee that I will cause anyone a headache... cause I’m good at it!
Welcome mate, put up some pics of the 3 tags and we should be able to help
