    Yeah, no 6 cylinder sandman in hz mate. 3 seater rules it out too. Gives you some flexibility to make it what you want without having to worry about honouring sandman originality

    Bit more info for you. It was originally palias white as you said. Factory 202 3 speed manual on the tree. All three plates look to be matched. The K is the year, (1980-which includes late 79)"it does not mean HK

    Thanks for that. The weird thing is that it has the typical spot welds for the buckets that are not backyard?
    My question now is the weight?

    I had a hj ute in the early 80s ..went to take the bench seat out it had the hole's there for bucket seats filled in with what i suspect holden filler ...don't know what that means but was a 202.. 3 on the tree .

    All floors had same seat holes from around HG or HQ, not sure if that varied between plants...

    That’s how they all are. Just plugged the spare holes up with silastic stuff.

    It’s officially not a Sandman!

    Just another Q: the “birth certificate” that can be purchased, is it worthwhile????
