I would be surprised if it fetched more than $20k though as it has dual fuel and says minimal rust, but a nice van, probably the most expensive of all Sandmans too being a metallic 1979 van with 308 and TH400.

the good thing with some one asking this amount of money is that if one person gets it the value of a sandman grows
as they should because really you can not restore a sandman correctly for 50k. i hope the seller gets his asking price

You can't really restore a VR commodore correctly and expect to be able to sell it for what it owes you either.......

but would be surprised if he does get the asking price...we subscribe to unique cars, so get it before it is in newsagents...had a good look at that a fortnight ago and hoped that he did get his asking price, as made ours more valuable as well...
