    Clean and Restore Fuel Tank

Great weather this weekend, time to clean the fuel tank so it can be ready in time for fitting to the restored chassis.
Any tips now would be good, but I'll post up my process with photos etc when I'm done.

the best product you can use to clean all the years of gunk residue and to seal the tank with a ceramic type coating is POR 15..google it..i have used it on harley tanks and i have also recommended it to my customers with at least 1/2 a dozen people using it and coming back to rave about it..its a slow process over around 5 hours but its not a 5 hour full time job..

    Yes $125.
Got hot gun and read various online blogs on how others have done it. I'll get the kids to clean the outside of the tank first, cause looks like it's never been cleaned! :shifty:
