What Oz has always maintained is that a chassis will always carry the identity that it left the factory with, regardless of what vehicle it is a part of and that is backed by law.
What I am saying is that by placing it into another vehicle that identity has gone and it becomes part of the repaired vehicle. To back that up you can stamp your old number and identity on it. Just as my example from the RTA shows.
So what Oz says is not backed by law.
