There are no records kept therefore the answer cannot be given.
However HK1837 has been compiling a database of Sandman's for several years and may be able to tell you how may have been recorded. But it would not be an official GM number.
I need to put a note on the forums somewhere to say that no sales figures for Sandmans etc. It is a very common question. :Tophat:
i would agree with rare.
i only know of 3. 1 x saddle tan, 1 x Valencia, 1 x Jasmine. My guess would be less than 10 known in existance now.
wait and see what the HK1837 says
good combo to get, you can run the CHEV and keep everything else stockish.

Just asking the question because i think mine is one from what i have been told its valencia orange with buckskin trim will get the numbers on the weekend then if someone can verify this for me i will be stoked but im 99% sure it is a sandman
cheers gene.
308 TH400 Sandman utes are the rare ones. Vans are still not common in that build configuration but not as rare as utes (today anyway). The main reason will be the cost of the (imported) TH400 box. It was a huge cost compared to the vehicle price. A sensible buyer that wanted a Sandman auto for example for a tow vehicle would have bought a 253 trimatic for much less cost. 308 manual were about as useful a tow vehicle as a Corolla!
By all means put your ID data up here. If you don't wish to publish them to the world PM them to me and i'll tell you what it is (or isn't).
Well i know one plate says l31 m41 cant remember if it was gu7 or gu4 but i know that is the code for 308 turbo 400 i think correct me if im wrong please this van hasnt moved since 1994 and been in my care for 24 years and for another 24 years i hope.
cheers gene.
