HQ windowless van what are they worth in today's market

I have been offered a HQ windowless van .
It is a 186 4 speed
not sure on year but it is ment to be pretty well rust free, with only a few small rust spots in front guards.
It is straight as they get
I would presume its not a sandman as it is Beige.. :errf:
I will be having a look tomorrow
I just not sure what they are worth on today's market ...
any help would be much appreciated

any good windowless body is worth 1500 to 3k and thats just the body with nothing attached...work from that...i wouldnt put any great value on the running gear..few hundred..so working on that and add for clean doors and tailgates and bonnet and nose you could add a couple of k.

im gunna go out on a limb here. 3 grand to 4? Also. Biege 6cyl. Sounds like a possible ex SEC or Telecom Australia workhorse. Bloke here in town has one. Ex SEC. Great nick.

look at the condition of this one..
i doubt they will sell it for $2k let alone $9k

i know of an unlic slightly rusty windowless 6cyl auto WB van that went for $7,500. at $1,500 i reckon its a nobrainer!

I only ask as i don't really need it but if i can get it for the right price i will
I have 3 HJ windowless vans at the moment and have kinda avoided HQ's as i'm not a fan of the dash..

I had a look today and it would have to be one of the best body's i have EVER seen on a HQ.
It was originally painted with what looks to be LoneOranger, But someone painted it Beige which is now flaking and curling off in most places
The floors are original and mint
there is no rust to be seen anywhere
the body is super straight
it's a 72 model with disc brakes
I bought it and a heap of other gear for a tad more than i wanted to pay, but all in all I doubt you would find a Q this good Anywhere..

im with you, the HJ-Z dash is much better

you hve way too many projects so id be happy to take it off your hands i have a nice alloy headed stroker that will fit straight in
