Resto and Tech

Would there be any benefit in expanding the resto & tech support forum in the garage to more sections?

A couple of suggestions have been driveline, interior, gearbox etc.

Thoughts or suggestions?

Can't see it hurting Blocker. There's already 270 odd threads in there and a few subforums may allow people to find an existing thread which covers that topic a bit easier, rather than starting a new duplicate thread.

Would it be possible to have an index with these categories.
When threads are tagged, the index can find all threads with the appropriate tags?

..... or just search for it?

I know that ill be asking a lot of questions in my thread coming up when the van comes home. Would make life easier for me when looking for info.:Chin:

Indexing is pretty much what I was suggesting.

I just had a thought, it could be divided up just like the HQ-HZ parts catalogues maybe?
So under the Resto & Tech Support sub forum you would see;

Chassis
Engine-Clutch
Cooling-Grille-Oiling
Electrical
Fuel-Exhaust-Carburettor
Transmission
Brake
Suspension-Steering & Axel

Body
Doors & Glass
Seats & Trim
Wiring Harness (goes with Electrical?)
Accessories (anything else?)

The forum has had a number of changes, and I don't want to make a change every week, but if this is something that would be useful then feedback would be good.
