How about a Sandman Run???

These vans look their best out driving and what a better setting than driving to a beach which made these cars famous.

I would love to get out and take a drive down the great Ocean Road to Lorne. We have done the drive down to Torquay a few times but it would be great to get a few vans/utes together for the trip.

Proposal:
Starting in Melb with a meeting at the Shell just before the Westgate bridge around 9:30am
Drive down to Geelong meeting any other vans coming from country Vic on the Geelong outskirts before going along the beach at Geelong.
Then cruise via Torquay to Lorne for lunch.
Back to Melb

At this stage it is just a suggestion as I am seeking interest. Even 3 or 4 vans would be great.

Let me know if you are interested and we can work at setting a date that suits all concerned.

Hey Ian i'd be in for sure but my van is currently getting a rebuild (hence me not visiting the nats!). Can't wait till its done! Count me in for the next one:D

What's with the rebuild? It was spotless before.

Very quiet Van Nats. I went on the Friday and home on Saturday as had a prior commitment. I was the only Sandman there at that stage and there was only around 45 vans in total.

With footy it makes it harder for me but I could make it on the following dateS. 11th of the 4th ....... 18th of the 4th ..... 9th of the 5th.... And possibly 22nd / 23 of the 5th but not sure on them two and I can also make the 30th of the 5th hopefully that dates I can make mAtch up with yous
