hi guys just looked at a hj sandman,but has no rear roof lining. mounting holes are in both sidesat the top nothing at the rear.it is a genuine van,orinal paperwork to back it up. front roof has not been reapolsted.

According to the info we have it should have a full length headlining including a welded metal headlining strip above the tailgate door, the head lining can be removed, ours was when we bought it, but if you have the side rails and holes for the bows, then it probably is there and you didnt notice. Have a read of the identification - tab in orange toolbar...next to Forum, but if you have the paperwork you should be okay, is the console bracket there...and does it have buckets, and a seating capacity of 2?

could someone take a photo of the headlining strip (for us noobs) so we know what to look for, i haven't really gotten into it that much to pay attention so i think it's time i did so now

Holden cannot give you anything telling you it is a Sandman. It is not in their records. If it is a Sandman and does not have the rear strip it has been removed or rebodied at some stage. If it has the side strips in place then I'd say the rear strip has definitely been removed.
just had a look at my hz kingswood van that has full roof lining hae the comby thing in place also has 2alumin type plates?in the corner arch held in with 2 screws either side,but the hj doesnt have that
