    Byron,

Is it possible that the first HJ's following the HQ's didn't have the full roof lining and this was introduced along the way, maybe with the 1/1/75 compliance for retractable seat belts?

GT lovely van by the way, wonderful find. I assume it has the floppy seat belts in it?

It is remotely possible that AN early one was slightly different, however it wouldn't have been introduced in 1975 as huge amounts of HJ Sandman vans would have been built in 1974 and more would have shown up by now. If this van has the side strips for the bows and no rear strip it means it must have had a proper HJ Sandman headlining, but for some reason it now no longer has the rear strip. Being 10/74 it could be anything though, except the 10/74 HJ commercial ordering procedure says BB7 is part of Sandman. My guess is it had a headlining from new, possibly either the rear strip has been removed or the very early production vehicles were attached a bit different.
