hi according to my sandman its by compliance plates, 8 wm 70,253 4 speed, nutria, it has 9930173 tyre placard 2200kg weight seat capacity of 2 and is a 10 month of 1974, ahj is the start of chasis number 6 digit speedo. what it doesnt have is xu3 on compliance plate or full roof lining.so what do you think?
how do you tell where its built
You need to put up the numbers off the long skinny tag. It tells you which plant it came out of.Just the first 8 digits will do if you are concerened about privacy.
i havnt got that information (forgot to write it down ) but i am going to sea it again tommorow night to give him a deposit. anthy thing else i need to get
Just write all the numbers down so you have the info. Take some pics and put them up. If you are buying it then pay according to the fact you dont know its anything other than a HJ panelvan.
paying a lot . im being lasy this time and buying someone elses hard work. i am rebuilding a torana hatch, and have rebuilt an slr 5 torana .just want somthing i can have power stearing on. 90percent sure its the real deal. but there is always that 10 percent, dont claim to be an expert . but xu3 not on compliance plate, and no rear roof lining or provision for has thrown. if it was a torana i can figure it out with the help of friends in a9x club. but not a torana a sandman.so at this stage friends cant hep, also new to forums and computers as havnt had much to do with them.
dpes ahj in the start of a chasis number mean its an adelaid car ?
