    4x4 tyres

Been trying to find rims and tyres to replace the original 2011 SR5 15x7 alloys. Tyres are awful, Bridgestone 255/70/15.

I want to fit Yokohama Geolanders, probably 265/65/17 which matches the Diesel SR5 tyre size and will probably fix my speedo.

Trouble is I'm having trouble finding plain black 17x7 or 17x7.5 rims. Hoping the Dynamic Sunraysia will work. Everyone does those poxy black and alloy stuff, looks gay to me! Anyone know of any plain black wheels that look good?

What about Prado 17" wheels, I know they are not black, but look good on a pilux.

I just put Bridgestone Dueller 265/65/17 on the prado and they look like good tyres. Replaced the coopers that I got last time. They did 60000km but they were prone to flat tyres.Dont recomend them.
I have BF Goodridge on my standard pilux rims, but 40000km is going to pull them up. Had them on my landcruiser ute and they did 80000km.

I had Cooper tyres as well. Went out to western NSW and speared the lot through the side walls. Had them with plugs sticking out everywhere. Too soft for Aust conditions.

I had looked at buying secondhand 17" Prado rims and painting them black but secondhand ones are unrealisticly expensive, cheaper to buy Speedy copies. They also come in almost black, just need a little strip of matt black to cover the stupid looking silver lip. These are the front runners in choice at the moment, fairly cheap too at about $175 each for 17x7.5". They are called Grande, down the bottom of this page.

Prefence is probably for straight black sunraysias with no pinstripe in 17x8 or 17x7.5 but I need them to be 30P offset. These guys have them I think:

Most blokes I have spoken to with Geolander tyres get in excess of 100,000kM out of them.
