Theres a few places getting that size rubber in, if not when you buy your rims over there get rubber thrown on

That is the best way to freight into Aus anyway

A mate's got 15x10s on his torana, and he sourced a Pirelli tyre that fitted - apparently the early Lamborghini Contach size is still produced, and is just about right for wheels in the 15x10 region. It's something like a 295 width.

Looking at the Lambos at the CMC day today at eastern creek, and one of them had a pair of Pirelli P-zeros in 345/35/15 on the back. These would be more suitable for 12" wide rears.
35 may sound like a low profile, but at 345 width, that equates to a sidewall around 120mm, which is slightly more sidewall than the 205/55/16 on the VL Group A, and they're far from low profile by today's standards.

Nice wheels! How would 17's go on a Sandman, as the tyres are going to be a lower profile it might get close. Regarding price, if you fit decent wheels on a commodore, they would be getting up there.
