    Our steering wheel looks like that too. We are going to paint ours (HX ute) but they are powder coated so you needed to try and sand, with a small sanding tool, that coating then paint it. Jb on RB iPad

    Nope I think I'll go for a new wheel.
    There is about 0% humidity where I live but I take your point and should remove the tools just in case.

    Well I have been away pretty much since the above post and came back with some new wheel nuts.
    I went over to the shed this afternoon and found a friggen ginger tomcat living in the car.
    Dogs - 1
    Cat - 0

    I will have to hurry up and get the windscreen in I think.

    The casino blue and white stripes look good together,my van is the same colour and stripes but like you i didn't like the combo either but looking how your ute came up i will stick with it too, would you remember the paint code at all ? Thanks

    Mate, Paint code is on the plate. I just gave the paint shop the code and they mixed it up, no worries.

    Thanks cafiem,i thought they may have given you a mix code.i tried to get mustard mixed for my pacer off the paint code ,not even close to original.

    No, they just put the number into the computer and I'm guessing it told them what tinters etc to use.
    Looks really nice when done, I'm glad I didnt go green like I nearly did.
