I've seen an L31 WB tonner but not ute. Dr Terry saw a ute new. Not sure if the HDT Magnum ute was a factory L31 or not. Auto would be M38 or M40 depending on build timeframe.

I know youre based in NSW Oz but anyone know how that would sit with Vic Roads fitting a commodore motor to the ute? Im assuming they had the same pollution setup between the 2 models and both were blue motors?

Same engine. Just remember manual and auto engins have different levels of pollution equipment but apart from that a Commodore, Calais or Statesman engine can be used in a WB ute without any hassles.
