    Don't be too harsh on employees of that particular company. In my experience some branches are severely understaffed and often they will be back many hours after their knock off time trying to get work done. We had a friend who worked there and who recently left to work for a competitor as she was way too overworked. She had a conscience and got sick of not getting the time to get back to people, even after working back 3 hours 2 or 3 days a week trying to catch up. They often had people lined up out the door, and phones ringing and emails to answer and flights to book etc etc. Yet no help was ever given!

    Lately we have given up on agents, and go to tripadvisor and look for places with great feedback and book them directly online.

    My PET hate is people who rant on forums that don't use their space key to make paragraphs.

    Avoid Flight Centre like a plague! I have 3 stories but they are too lengthy to go into detail because I might not use the space bar. Wrong hotel booked for honeymoon, transfers not booked, and not crediting vouchers paid at an interstate store.

    I will never every use Flight Centre again, nor would I recommend anyone use them. Best tip as HK1837 said... research tripadvisor and book directly.

    We booked all our stuff in Langkawi, Malaysia proper and Borneo based upon Tripadvisor. Some of it wasn't even listed in travel brochures. Yet all of it was excellent, and most of the places get their business off Tripadvisor recommendations. I think i'll start a thread on recommended places to saty and things to do!

    Same here mate. Hong Kong, Thailand, NZ and Malaysia has all been self booked and resourced from Tripadvisor - all separate trips btw.

    Useless tenants who NEVER pay their rent on time.

    Good for FA property managers who dont do their job but are great at taking your money

    High fuel prices - especially driving over a 100 kays a day in a VS 5L... ouch!

    Rain - we've had too much in Perth and my vans are getting wet and smelly

    i tell ya what this ford is killing me.. well more the mechanics that dont do what they are meant to.. i specify what i want done and where the problem is and do they fix it.. no.. i drove it straight out of the shop and noticed the problem hadnt gone. id fix it myself if i had the time.. ive taken it to 2 mechanics asking that they fix a leak in the powersteering.. i even narrowed it down to an area (ie that giant puddle of leaking fluid near the power steering yet they claim to fix it but its not fixed.. i dont even think they fixed the right pipe..

    It's a common problem for the power steering pipe to leak.
    It usually drips onto the alternator, then it will make it un-repairable.
    BO6 = Rarer then a Sandman
